Established in 2000, we provide quality procurement training courses that develop and transform procurement and supply chain knowledge, skills and performance.
We are the procurement training experts, providing all levels of CIPS courses from Level 3 – Level 6 MCIPS, procurement apprenticeships and short courses.
We offer remote learning through our live virtual, fully interactive classroom and distance learning for students that wish to study in their own time. Our short courses can be tailored to the individual requirements of your organisation.
Our CIPS Centre of Excellence status has been retained year upon year. We are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and have achieved the Matrix standard (owned by the Department for Education) for our apprenticeships which demonstrates our high- quality standard for the management and delivery of information advice and guidance throughout our apprenticeship provision.

Anne has been successfully developing and teaching a wide range of business courses in the public and private sectors, for over 15 years, for organisations such as BT, Sainsbury’s and the NHS. She spent eight years at Bath College managing a large team of teaching and support staff, and, prior to that, worked for GlaxoSmithKline in a supply chain role.
Ian has many years procurement and supply training and teaching experience. He brings a wealth of expertise from private, public and not-for-profit sectors in procurement, project management, management and related roles. Ian has worked for a range of organisations and companies, including the Foreign Office, Virgin Rail, Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Business Pursuits, University College London, Cancer Research and the NSPCC.
With a Bachelor of Science in Human Psychology, Lynn’s early career took her into purchasing where she became a senior procurement professional with a career spanning 20 plus years specialising in packaging for a range of companies from pharmaceutical to gin distillers! Lynn has been a tutor since 2022, predominantly for CIPS Levels 3 and 4 and Apprentices, and holds CAVA and AET qualifications in training, teaching and assessment.
Steve has over 25 years of Procurement expertise in sectors such as engineering, nuclear, and pharmaceuticals. Steve has held senior roles including Commercial Director at Bendalls and Contract Officer at Sellafield Ltd where he led strategic procurement and supply chain projects. Steve is passionate about leveraging his deep industry knowledge to empower learners to drive business success and develop commercial capabilities.
Jennifer Allen Jenny has over 25 years of hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management across diverse industries. She has experience of fast-paced business environments as a Buyer, Planner and Supply Chain Manager. She has excellent analytical and negotiation skills and brings that wealth of knowledge to the classroom.

APA provide excellent levels of support to meet the learner needs. All students have good access to 1-1 support and have plenty of opportunity to take part in group discussions, learning from their peers. There is strong cohesion between the Learner, Employer and APA as a training provider Apprentices gain confidence throughout the duration of the course and confidence to engage more with stakeholders.
Matrix Standard 2022
Leaders (at APA) have devised an appropriate and well-planned curriculum that meets a well-defined need for skilled staff. The curriculum content is comprehensive and builds on apprentices’ prior experience and ongoing learning. As a result, learners build a broad base of knowledge that helps to improve their business, professional and personal skills over time.
